Up About Us No Stronger Bond End of an Era End of an Era 2

"About Us"

On Friday December 15th 2000 the doors will have closed at Price Primary School (one of the few small schools left in the vicinity) for the last time because of falling enrolments, which reflects the rural decline South Australia is currently experiencing.  As we come to the "End of an Era" and ponder schooling at Price 1885 - 2000 we realise that it is rich in history, colourful characters and sound education.  We know that the staff and students over the years have a right to be proud of their heritage and to also understand change is always with us and that "nothing is forever".

Vision Statement

To be the first crystal in the Salt Pan

To the the first crystal there must be:

vision

a willingness to take a risk

acceptance of the challenge

dedication to the goal

boldness and initiative

                                            The first crystal:

has set molecular structure so that all who join have a firm safe foundation, which will not alter.

sparkles, excluding energy and an irresistible charm so that others wish to join it and become part of it.

is pure so that others know that it is in good heart, honest and trustworthy.

                                            As others join:

the shape and design changes according to their needs and outside forces

the crystal gathers size and is large and strong

they are always aware of their bonding with others and their individuality as a crystal

Those  who join and shape the mass are always aware of the original, bright, bold and pure central crystal, without whom they would not grow and develop.

"We will be the very, very best and it will take courage"
